High School
Students: You will be receiving your BCHS IDs from your English teachers if you have turned in all of your paperwork. If you need new copies of any paperwork or need to have your photo taken for the ID, see Mrs. Rachel Taylor. Please do not lose these IDs. They cost $5 to replace and can be used for ACT and Prom identification. Virtual students: If you would like an ID, you may stop by the school any weekday from 7:30-2:30 and see Mrs. Rachel Taylor in the library. If you did not get your picture taken for the yearbook either this year or last year, you will need to have your picture taken for the ID. All virtual students are entitled to a student ID as well as in-house students.
Students – start off the year with a S.M.A.R.T. goal! Come by the library to learn more about what a S.M.A.R.T. goal is and set one for yourself! At the end of the month, 10 random students who participate will be randomly chosen for a variety of prizes including candy, gift cards, and other fun prizes!
Seniors: Mrs. Fulghum has created a Google Classroom in which she will post and share newsletters, scholarship opportunities, and other important news concerning your senior year. The code to join the classroom is rots2d4. For more information or help in joining, please see Mrs. Fulghum or Mrs. Taylor.
We would like to congratulate Chloe Griffin, Rodrickus Brown, and Kylan McNeal in their achievement as Powerade’s Will to Win Athletes. This award recognizes high school athletes for outstanding academics, dedication, and desire. This month, Chloe, Rodrickus, and Kylan were presented the Powerade Athlete Award by Coach McBroom and Coach Parker. The Powerade Athlete Award allows coaches to recognize athletes who are truly committed to their academics, their sport, and giving it their all. Each winner will receive a t-shirt, backpack, and plaque. Bolivar Central Basketball wishes to thank the Coca-Cola company for their support.
