Message from Principal Polk
Every school year brings an element of trepidation; and as we deal with the impact of the pandemic, this year is indescribably unprecendented. Nevertheless, I am confident of this one thing: As long as the faculty, staff, students, and parents are patient, positive, and flexible with every challenge with which we have to face, we will rise victoriously as “keepers” and learners of education. I am thrilled because this is an exciting time to set new standards and trends for our next generation of learning – tradition, digital, remote, etc. – here at BCHS. Our awesome team of teachers is preparing themselves to do whatever it takes to move our students to the next level. “Our human compassion binds us the one to the other – not in pity or patronizingly, but as human beings who have learnt how to turn our common suffering into hope for the future.” (Nelson Mandela) It is truly our good pleasure to continue to serve our students to the best of our abilities with the resources that we have. Our ultimate goal is to aid students in becoming productive citizens who leave BCHS better than they arrived.
